About me

Hi, I’m Valerie, an artist and tattoo artist based in Auckland. I trained in academic art from childhood in Moscow and graduated from Moscow State University of Printing Arts as a graphic artist. Before becoming a tattoo artist in 2020, I spent 14 years working in graphic design and also taught design.

My background shapes how I approach each tattoo, with attention to composition, detail and how the design sits on the body. I especially enjoy the collaboration. Everyone brings their own ideas, stories and personality, and I love working together to create something personal.

I see tattooing as an intimate process built on trust. I want you to feel comfortable, safe and heard, from our first conversation to your finished tattoo. You’re always welcome to ask questions, share your concerns and take your time.
